Yesterday, someone inquired about my plugin, FancyCode. He also using my theme, Gutenic.

Here is the screenshot of his mail 👇

In his message, he mentioned seeing a double header on his website when using my FancyCode plugin and adding a Header.

To address this issue, I’m planning to create a tutorial explaining the solution.

1. Theme Site Editor

This option is available only in Full Site Editing (FSE) themes. Since the Gutenic theme is an FSE theme, you will definitely find this option there.

2. Access the Navigation Panel

Once you’re in the site editor, open the navigation panel.

3. Navigate Back from Templates

Move one step back from the Templates section.

4. Go to Patterns

Select Patterns from the navigation menu.

5. Edit the Header

Locate the Header pattern and make the necessary edits.

6. Delete the Header

Open the Document Overview Tree, locate the header, and delete the entire section.

Bonus Tip:

Using the same method, you can also remove the footer if needed.

I’ve also created a video tutorial for this process. You can watch it here →
